Ronaldo Open to Leaving Al-Nassr in 2025

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr is uncertain, with reports suggesting the Portuguese legend is open to leaving the club when his contract expires in the coming months.

Ronaldo made the surprise move to Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the then-defending league champions. However, with his deal set to run out at the end of the current season, Ronaldo is free to open talks with other clubs, and according to Spanish publication Marca, an exit from Al-Nassr “can’t be ruled out”.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, and former Real Madrid player is said to be eager to “embrace a new project” and does not want to retire anytime soon. Despite enjoying life in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo’s ambition to win trophies remains unabated, and he is reportedly keen to land some form of silverware with Al-Nassr before departing Saudi Arabia.

Since joining Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has failed to lead his side to the Saudi Pro League title or any other trophy. With his contract uncertainty looming, it remains to be seen whether Ronaldo will achieve his goal of winning silverware with Al-Nassr or seek a new challenge elsewhere.
